Guests may relax in the comfort of our Drawing Room at any time of the day. During the Covid-19 restrictions, however, access will be limited, and you should pre-book a time to use this room. Only guests from the same household will be able to use this room at one time. However, the upside of the restrictions is that you will have the exclusive use of this beautiful elegant room with many Victorian details including a bay window overlooking Park Circus. We have a range of books, board-games which during the restrictions will be available by request, as well as free wifi. Newspapers can be ordered upon request.
Afternoon tea can be pre-booked and is served daily in the Drawing Room at a time to suit you by prior arrangement. We can also serve an 'Ayrshire Ashet' to guests from 5pm until 8pm, either in the Drawing Room or in the comfort of your own bedroom if do not wish to dine out, but instead would prefer something lighter to eat at 'Lochinver'. This is made up of local and Scottish cheeses, hams and cold cuts, served with a selection of pickles and preserves - some made locally, Scottish oatcakes and artisan breads. This should be booked in advance of the day you would like to enjoy it. We are also able to provide a picnic lunch by prior arrangement. Please see our Afternoon Tea & Ayrshire Ashet menus.
We do not have a licence, but we are happy to provide glasses and ice to guests, and we can offer a range of soft drinks from our menu.
We are able to provide our guests with free parking vouchers allowing you to park on Park Circus, which is otherwise a restricted parking zone - there are ample parking spaces along this street.
We can provide bicycle storage facilities for a small number of bikes, by prior arrangement and we have a clothes-drying service available for cyclists and golfers.
